Arewa Cotton Participates in ACF ABTF/CMIA organized International Technical Workshop On Sustainable Agriculture in Nairobi, Kenya 9th – 13th May 2022.

The technical workshop on sustainable agricultural practices and soil health management held at Ole-Sereni hotel, Nairobi Kenya between 9th and 13th May, 2022 had in attendance 3 expert delegates from ArewaCotton, including her Gender Mainstreaming and Child Labour Team Lead, Ibe Achimugu, Farm Manager, Emmanuel Sule and Alexander Edache Ochigbo, the Measurement and Evaluation Expert. The conference which was facilitated by the African Cotton Foundation (ACF) in collaboration with Aid by Trade Foundation (AbTF) and Cotton Made in Africa (CmiA) respectively with the objective to harness the combined knowledge of members by sharing learnings, particularly those related to grant activities and jointly exploring possible solutions to challenges of sustainable agriculture, as well as introduce potential resources of expertise and inputs that support these efforts in cotton production in Nigeria and Africa.
The International conference offered ArewaCotton delegates the ample opportunity to learn new strategies, network their peers from other regions and jurisdictions as well as criss-cross ideas on the most pressing issues in sustainable agricultural practices and development.
